WOW - I came back from a happy weekend and found all this. First of all THANK YOU DAN for all the work you have put in to make the list the success that it is. I always thought that every body read everything anyway (but then I am not computer literate - I just press the buttons and expect things to happen). I think that it is OK for people to read what is what on the list. If this is the way that we can all benefit then so be it. I am happy not to tell state secrets, if otherwise then I will be equally happy to do it privately. I always say that any communication has to be a good thing. As the only constant is change then so be it. PS My main pumpkin is starting to run. Now I have to run after it !!! My secondary seedling have all gone down with Collar Rot so it is up to the two planted plants to do their bit for the glory of NZ. El Nino is starting to have an effect with warm but wet weather (watch out Botrytis) and sunny afternoons. Temp around 14 - 18 Celcius. The galss compound around the plants is having a beneficial effect and is being expanded tonight. I will start a programme of dilute liquid feed this weekend. Cheers TO ALL. JOhn S. Have a 'Parky' day!
