How to pick the right plant?
I think the best answer given so far is the advice to hold off as long as you
can before culling out the victim plants. Somewhere along the line you will
have to "fish or cut bait." If you think a plant is a late bloomer then you
will be taking out the bigger plant of the two. Oh, the pain.
