Growers,
Yes its true, The Guru is back. Known worldwide as Brett (alais 627.5)
Hester, for growing the first pumpkin to weigh over 500 pounds (in Canby
Oregon), and for making some great pork fried rice (try some on your
pumpkins, does wonders). Tonight we are to get 50+ MPH winds and are
expected to see Toto and some girl fly by, but I don't believe the hype.
I hope I have made the mailing list switch correctly, for if not I fear my
letter will go nowhere, but hey it will get there fast. (Shellie, am I
working??) I have been thinking for some great words of wisdom to pass along
to everyone who is left on the list, but all I could think of was 'Every rose
has its thorn and should be dug up to make room for more pumpkins',
'Elephants never forget, and produce some great manure', 'Never underestimate
the power of a woman, for they will grow a bigger pumpkin than you', and
finally 'Never ever play leapfrog with a unicorn, it will disrupt your
ability to grow pumpkins.'
