Tony,
I am coming down to have a look send me you address.
I have been giving it some thought and suspect you may be wetting the leaves
with your watering system and with the warm weather promoting the growth of
the fungus.
I suggest you:
a. only water the ground around the roots;
b. put mulch (straw or something under the leaves to prevent splashing
water on to the leaves;
c. allow the top of the ground to dry out before re-watering;
d. when spraying for white flies and fungus only spray in the morning so
that the leaves can dry out quickly during the day;
e. only water in the early morning before work;
I have now detected some small white flies on my tomatoes, they appear
smaller than the infestation I got last time and fewer of them. We need to
be on guard.

Subject: Help!
Is there life after Alternaria Leaf Spot?
All my cucurbits have it.
The A.g.s the gourds and the cucumbers.
I have sprayed with a fungicide and will spray every few days.
My 1006 seems to have stopped growing at the two leaf stage.
It's looking very old and is a very dark green apart from all the
brown bits. There has been no new growth for two weeks.
I think I am winning the white fly battle.
Maybe they have spread something viral?
Should I give up and start again or will my plants survive?
Troubled Tony
