The power of observation is certainly effective. You can't argue with
success. It might be intersting to compare the actual ligt intensity. If
you have access to a meter, measure the foot candles or photo electron flux
density and compare the two tubes. I wonder if the difference is in light
intensity or some other quality of the light. It would neat to see whats
really going on there.
