Great idea and I had not thought about that. I do not have a light meter but
I have a friend that is a pro photographer, he has one I could perhaps
borrow! I did notice that in placing my hand under the lights the
flourencents are a lotter hotter temp wise vs. the expensive grow luxs, they
are not cheap but I have them now!

If it is a foot candle meter it will mesure all visual light not just the
Blue and Red that plants use.
