The Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers presently have over 2,000 seeds from most of
the world's top 1997 giant pumpkins donated to them. This list is still
growing.
These seeds will be distributed free to the first 500 paid up 1998 members
of the Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers or they will be available at the 20 - 22
March, City of Ottawa Seminar (Convention?). You must be a paid up member
of the Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers by 23 March 1998 to qualify for the free
seed plan and you must join the Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers to attend the
seminar.
A complete list of seeds in the plan and the detailed rules of the plan
will be published in our December newsletter and on our webpage in the near
future.
Before the Canada Post Office went on strike 8 days ago we had 121 paid up
1998 Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers members.
All funds from memberships are turned over into our newspapers and other
administration costs. A complete 1997 financial report is presented in our
January newspaper.
