Pumpkin Witch:
I am thinking I prefer it as one word. Try PumpkinWitch. It's a bit more
modern and original though either would probably be acceptable.
I appreciate your comments on my 1006/1061 seeds. However, I am not going to
throw them out. This next year I will be trying them along side some other
seeds to see "witch" do the best. I have some seeds from 1061 crossed with an
Eaton 941 "witch" was a beautiful pumpkin in that it was very orange. It did
look just like the 1061 in color and shape only smaller, between 400 and 500
pounds. The seed was large, smooth and quite dark. I am going to be planting
that seed too.
I can see that you are very knowledgeable about genetics and I am learning
quite a bit from your comments. I think, though, that the Atlantic Giant is
such a genetic mish mosh that in the near term going with seeds from the
biggest pumpkins is the best bet. I hope to do that by getting some seed from
Chris Anderson.
I made a post several days ago about worms and didn't get a single comment!
Doesn't anyone know anything about worms?? Now I can really appreciate that
the hard working worm gets far too little attention. I thought I might have
opened a can of worms? Guess not?
