Dan and all,

The main coment I got was "those are beautifull pumpkins" and of course I
replied with pride  "thanks, I grew them myself".  

"Yea, right" as they turned to walk away.  Then of course I invited them
to look in the side yard and see the pumpkinless patch where the remaing
two pumpkins were cut that morning and they were blown away.  Felt great
to share with the neighborhood.
