Hi
I'd be interested in exchanging some seed.
Actually, I would be intersted in some other seed exchange as well.I have not yet cut the pumpkin I grew this year...but I have a weighed at Topsfield 193 lber I grew this, my first, season. I plan to cut this weekend.
It was the third smallest at Topsfield, but has really good color. Also, I was stricken by squash vine borer in the second week July and put on a late (and risky) application of Malathion which seemed to slow growth for a few weeks on the vine. But, the late Malathion was worth the risk since I got the one fruit.
You may e-mail me directly about seed.
Kristina.

Hi Tom,
I am also a first year grower. I manged to get a half-decent pumpkin with a very short growing season (late start early frost). The final result was a nice looking 133lbs. I know it's no monster but I still am proud of my first pumpkin.
I have plenty of seeds to give. The only nag is that the seed is un-official because I didn't get it weighed at an official site. The parent seed comes from a 500 + pumpkin (also unofficial). I have faith in this seed because of the growth rate in such a short time ( aug 1 to sept 22). I will definetely plant this seed next year, among other proven seeds. (Maybe I'm being too optimistic or too sentimental???).
So, if you, or anyone else , are interested in an un-official un-proven seed it's here for the taking. Those interested e-mail me for my snail mail.
Rock
