Ottawa St. Lawrence Growers News

A lot of the people are asking if the Ottawa St Lawrence newsletters are
going to continue. Yes they will. There are 4 newletters in the planning
stages for 1999. The next newletter will be mailed within two weeks.  

As many of you know Farmer Gus has retired as the director of the OSLG.
Many thanks to Gus and his wife Joan for all their hard work in
developing a world class organization.  Yes the organization will
continue. We have a group of growers who committed to continuing the
organization.  Already topics and material is being prepared for these
newletters.

The upcoming newletter will outline some of these plans. The upcoming
newletter will publish the official OSLG results and the results of
weigh-off across North America. In addition, it will have information
concerning the 1999 OSLG members seed distribution plan and 1999
membership info.

If anyone wishing to become member may send an email to
bkaye@playground.net. I will send you all the details.  1998 members may
wish to wait for the newletter, all 1999 membership info will be
included.

This email is not intended to be a solicitation for the OSLG. I
apologize if anyone may feel that they have been spammed. As there are
many questions concerning the transition from Gus, it is intended to
communicate that the OSLG is alive and well.
