On the last day of October I sanded and soaked 2 seeds I got
from Farmer Gus and the Ottawa-St.Lawrence growers.
A Baird 774 and a Lloyd 876.5. My wife picked out of the hat the
774 which is doing a little better than mine.
Each plant has 2 true leaves now and looking dangerous.
Speaking of dangerous, I still haven't heard from John Sargeant
to see if our war is on again this season.(not that I think he's dangerous).
Not much else to say.........the weather is warm.....the beer is cold.......
what more could a pumpkin grower want?
