Re: Seeds
Oh, I forgot to mention in my first email but I also grew this pumpkin in
a 100 sq ft area. I also had hail 2 weeks before pollination that destoryed
all my leaves so I can assume with leaves and room to grow a plant one could
do well with seed.

Hi everyone. An update on my pumpkins. I retrieved seeds from my 405
and got 500 good seeds. There also had to be about 100 seeds that were
germinated. I would love to give these away. If anyone is interested in
them email me privately. I think they have a good potential. My plant was
very resistent to wilt and disease. Wall thickness in my pumpkin was 6 to 7
inches in the thickest areas. It also had a very fast growth rate. For the
first few weeks it was growing at a rate that was slightly faster than Gary
Burkes 1092. A week of temps over 100 slowed it down and caused it to
mature early. Its mom is the 747 Wyckoff 97 and it was self pollinated.
