I have some photos of the Gold Rush pumpkins taken in Wayne Hackney's field
that show good examples of the variety. I will get my nephew to scan them to
disk and I'll post to the list as soon as I can. (Maybe Santa will bring me a
scanner this year!)
Gold Rush have massive stems for their size and a very handsome, Howden style
fruit shape.
Many seed catalogs offer Gold Strike pumpkin seeds, which are not to be
confused with the more desireable Gold Rush variety.
