Re: Moonie seed info
Hey Larry, sorry to hear you don't have many seeds but here is a question
for everyone. How many times has a seed from the largest pumpkin in the
world produced a pumpkin that was the largest in the world? Not to be mean
here but I don't think that the odds were on the side of anyone growing your
seed to be the biggest in the world. Does anyone have any other info on
this. Am I just way off or have pumpkins that not the biggest produce
giants. Didn't Jon Hunt use a 400 and something pounder to grow his 991?
And didn't Larry and Jerry use an 815?

WARNING! This post contains material that many, if not all will find
shocking. If your dog just died or your spouse just left you, turn off
your computer now.
Scott Cully began carving Moonie at 8 this morning for a public display
at Rebekah Manor in Ebensburg where Gerry is the administrator. The
first thing we did was cut a large hole into the seed cavity so Scott
could inspect the inside. Upon doing so we found that the stupid thing
contains about 300 seeds, ALL of them IMMATURE! Not a single good one,
nada, zip, nothing. As I stare at the 2 large boxes of bubble packs on
the floor I hardly know what to say, all of those hopes and dreams gone.
As most of you know my 1190 had only 34 good seeds and we only have a
limited amount of 815's left so most of your requests will not be
filled. More on this after we regain our senses.
