Well actually they are still growing, (yes I am serious!). Well 99% of the 
leaves died on most of them, but I think because of powdery mildew in 
combination with the Mosaic virus they have had all summer. Even with 
insecticides, fungicides, floating row cover, botanical parasites for 
Cucumber beetles, seaweed, etc., they still got the virus and mildew lately. 
I have been keeping them above frost, but yet all of the leaves seemed to 
have died. I am not giving up though. I am hoping I can find some  leaf/vine 
buds to get some new leaves growing to keep the plants a live long enough to 
finish off the biggest pumpkin (only 150 pounds or so now), and get the other 
ones so I can at least have some seeds. It seems like no matter how hard I 
try, something always finds a way to mess it up. It doesn't make sense. 
Oh well, anyway, I hope you and your family had (and are still having) a
