Well, I don't know if I beleive that. In a large enough greenhouse, I bet
they would grow even if planted in December, even here in Ohio. They are
daylength neutral, so I see no reason why they wouldn't.
And the cold temps are OUTside my tenting, underneath, I can keep uniformly
heated with propane heaters to about 70 degrees, and during the day, the sun
can get it in the upper 80's.
