Transmission
Steve and others, I will try and find more info but for now I will assume
that the virus was transmitted on the seed and not in it. If this is
correct then the virus can be handle by not exposing the seed to it. Maybe
removing the whole pumpkin from the field, scrubbing it in a 25% clorox
solution in a large tank or something before taking in to remove seeds.
