Welcome to the list Nancy and Rich,
No, this is not the norm. This list is what you might call a "closed
cummunity", somewhat like a familly. Every once in a while, someone steps on
someone else's toes, or somebody says something stupid, or somebody doesn't
understand certain things, or someone IS stupid, and tempers flare. All
natural occurences, even if they tend to be somewhat tiresome. BUT, all in
all, you have found one of the best places to find pumpkin information.
