TOPSFIELD MEDIA INFO WANTED
HI LIST MEMBERS
First of all many congratulations to Steve Connolly for his first place win
at Topsfield on Saturday. If you are a Member of this Mailing List Steve may
i wish you many congratulations on your Great Pumpkin you entered at
Topsfield yesterday. I personally logged onto the bigpumpkins.com website
every hour or so in order to see how the Weigh-Off was progressing. It would
have been even better if there had been a web-cam at the Weigh-Off so that we
could have had updated pictures every 10-15 minutes or so.
What i am now looking for is a website address for any Newspaper/s that
covered Topsfields Weigh-Off that may contain an editorial on the proceedings
at the Weigh-Off. If there are any List Members who may have such information
i would greatly appreciate receiving the details. Obviously many
congratulations must also be given to all the other contestants at the
Topsfield Weigh-Off for entering their best Pumpkins. Congratulations must
not just end there though as the Organisers and Lifting Crew must also be
given the highest praise for making the event an obvious success, WELL DONE
ALL.
In addition to the Topsfield Weigh-Off congratulations must also be given to
the 3 Guys who entered Pumpkins each over 1000 Lbs at the WPC Weigh-Off at
Clarence NY. With the 3 Pumpkins with weights of 109.6, 1048 & 1007 Lbs it
must have been a Great day for all concerned with that Weigh-Off. Any
information on Newspaper coverage on the WPC Clarence Weigh-Off would also be
greatly appreciated.
Well, that is my small input from over here on the other side of the Atlantic.
Lets just hope that there will be many more 1000+ Lb'ers Weighed at next
weekends Weigh-Off's.
