Dave Stelts 1140 lber was a beauty. Dave is wonderful person and thanks
many of the Ohio growers that have and will support him. He was so happy
and excited, that I tried to catch the tear or two in his eyes on film. I
had to 'zoom out' to capture the full size of this
monster...........picture perfect.
Dave, great job and a great job to all those growers that have participated
in the weigh-off at Park's Garden Center in Canfield, Ohio. I think we had
15 pumpkins over 700 lbs today.
Great place and very honest, down to earth people. I believe one person
had a pumpkin at 260 pounds. The pride and joy of growing 260 or 1140 is
the most important to any grower. You should be proud of any
accomplishment and set your goals high.
My five year old is happy to grow a 10 pounder and take it to
school................in his eyes and Dad's that is the most important
thing.
