 Rocky,

I'm just trying to get the GPC (and all of pumpkin growing) to come back,
full circle to what the WPC used to be (and that was most of the items you
mentioned and "many more"). I understood that the formation of the GPC was
all about getting the proper prize money to the top growers. Was it not? Or
has there been some kind of change in the ideals of the GPC and the people
at
the top of the organization? I can quote statements made durring that time.
This is a key question having to do with my defense concerning your
statements about me. Bill Greer could have shared $50K if he had known
about
it! Of course some said Ray Waterman, "would not pay". And from what I
have
heard he was kept in the dark by the GPC. It did not even occur to me to
ask
him about it at the Clarence Weigh-Off on September 30th. I do have respect
for growers and people for that matter. You on the other hand seem to blast
me without regard for, "even being part of this forum". I asked a question
that others wanted to hear also, "What was the prize money?". Then the
 punches started flying!

I want to ask Dave Stelt about the health and condition of his pumpkin. I
sincerely hope that was not a factor regarding the amount of loyalty
exhibited along with the pumpkin? He and everyone else was invited and
welcome to the Clarence event. And I might add, that, I'm very happy that
Joe Pukos and his beautiful young family were able to win the award. I'm
sure it will help them out greatly.

 Next stop 1200 lb!
