I responded a couple of months back to this request & am told it really works, but I toured a rose garden & the lady of the home used human hair balled up in short sections of nylon hose & tied these to her prize winning rose bushes & she swore this deterred the deer. (The hair was collected at her local beauty shop)It didn't look too obvious either, but if your garden was fenced you might try hanging these "hair balls", (pardon the pun) on the fence around your prized plantings-Good Luck!
