DEAR (no pun intended here either) LILLA
When i worked at a Golf Course we had problems with Deer breaking through the
Deer fencing and getting back on the Course after they had been driven out.
When the Golf Club held their first European Tour Tournament it was essential
to make extra special efforts in order to keep the Deer off of the Course. I
had seen somewhere in a magazine, several years previous, that by placing BIG
CAT Dung and/or urine, the former easier to collect, around or in an area
where Deer are to be excluded the Deer would not venture into that area.

The Head Greenkeeper thought i was joking but i insisted that it was worth a
try and maybe he should give the local Zoo a call and try and get some Lion,
Tiger, Leopard etc Dung/Urine. Eventually he gave in and went off to the Zoo
and returned with a plastic bag containing these lumps of Tiger Dung with
some Urine in there for good measure. Unfortunately he had not tied the top
of the bag closed to seal it and he complained for hours about the stench of
this Dung in his nice clean new 4X4. Someone, not me i must add, was summoned
to go around the Golf Course and smear the Dung/Urine around the Golf
Green's,Tee's and any other sensitive parts of the Golf Course that the Deer
were to be discouraged.

GUESS WHAT.......IT WORKED

BEST WISHES
