Hello all,
          I am new to the list and wanted to introduce myself.  My name is 
Denise.  Although I do not grow giant pumpkins myself I have been involved 
with them for about 9 years now.  My dad is the MO record holder ( 647.5 - 
1999).  I have done most of the research for him on the net.  I guess with me 
joining the list I am now hooked.  No turning back now!  I have been reading 
the archives for a while now and have taken a lot back to my dad.  I also 
have many questions and comments but I will get to those later.

    For now I would just like to say congrats to Dave Stelts!  Great job.  
And congrats to everyone who broke a new state record or beat a personal 
best.  And even better luck next year.
