WHERE IS THE OLDEST WEIGH-OFF ???

HI TO ALL LIST MEMBERS
I do hope that you have all had an enjoyable Weekend. I had a very enjoyable 
and interesting time over this past weekend as my very good friend Alun Jones 
came down from Liverpool to visit me. On Saturday we went to a Vintage 
Stationary Engine and Tractor show and sale, which is another interest that 
Alun and Myself have as well as Giant Pumpkins.

On Saturday afternoon the thought occurred to me to find out where the 
longest running Giant Pumpkin Competition is. I guess that it was being 
surrounded by old machinery that triggered such a thought as it is all part 
of our past and history. I would therefor like to put this question to 
everyone who may be able to help me find out WHERE the longest running Giant 
Pumpkin Competition is and what is the Name of the Group or Club that 
runs/organises it.

I have an answer to my own question but i will wait until i have had as many 
replies back from List Members as is possible up until this Friday and then i 
will reveal my answer, which will surprise most of you i am sure. Please
