                Sorry I didn't respond sooner but this took some time to 
find.  I don't think it actually counts as a weigh-off, but I did find that 
back in 1903 a William Warnoch had the world record with a 403 lb. at the St. 
Louis  Fair.  His first record was in 1893 with a 365 lb. and again in 1900 
with a 400 lb.  He held his 403 record for 73 years!  I would say he was born 
way before his time.  Think what he could do today.  Anyway just wanted to 
share what I had found.  I for one and my dad thought it was very 
interesting.  I will add the link for anyone who wants to check it out.
