Guess the third time is a charm. I guess I
have done something wrong in subscribing. My question is...In Mr. Don
Langevin's ---10teps to a Giant Pumpkin he uses the equation 1.9 to determine
the approx. size of his pumpkins. After doing the three way measurement he
takes the total inches and multiplies that figure by 1.9 to get the approx.
weight. I just want to know more about this. I am a second year
grower and need all the information I can get to come up with a "BIG" one.
The pumpkin I am taking to the Elk Grove weigh-off on Sat. Oct 6th looks to go
well over 500 pounds The scale will tell the
truth. Thanks a million.
