Did anyone write down the OTT measurements from the Daletas 1230? It was
measured OTT after it came off the truck. I heard the numbers called off
and I think it was 423"! That would have it estimated at approx. 1500#.
Volumetrically, it had to be the biggest pumpkin ever. I will never forget
the look on everyone's face when the truck pulled in and they pulled the
tarp off of it. It was weighed last and most everyone seemed shocked that it
weighed so much less than the taped size. Congratulations to Geneva and all
the growers! Thanks for the awesome display of pumpkin prowess. My family
and I had a great time and it gives great encouragement to your fellow
Northwest growers.
