re: Amagansett Long Island Weighoff Results

re: Amagansett Long Island Weighoff Results

way to go Scott !
Scott posted the results but didn't want to
toot his own horn... so i will for him, some.

an FYI to every one- Scott has won this weigh off
for a 3rd straight year.
and reached the 800 lb mark for the first time.
I hear it was almost judged a squash until
it was rolled over and it was 100 % yellow on
the bottom.
regardless of color 814 is not bad for a suburban
small patch back yard grower.

Glenn -yo G ? didn't see you're name there-
isn't this where you take your fruit ?
what happened ? I hope you didn't loose everything
to the SVB this year. don't wish that on
anyone... even if they like green !!! :)

also waiting to her from Dan Carlson !
i heard he grew a 8xx lb-er also ?

Congratulations to all the other winners also !

sorry for my post on how accurate are the scaless.
i know they are VERY acurate ... but once again as an
engineer geek i wondered what exactly that means.
I'm live in the north west, am a pumpkin nut and am
excited that the World Record is here again.
I certainly didn't mean or want to imply, that any
results should be contested or that any results are
anything less than official. and I hope i didn't
dampen anyones mood or celibrations. sorry again.

gordon
