Update On the Pumpkin Pool

Three gourds over 1,200 pounds - who woulda thunk? ...and rumors now abound of at least one more monster out there waiting for a weigh-off - possibly bigger than anything ever seen on the planet.  Amazing.....  and, and  the big ones were all orange.  How about that Mr. Mombert, sir?? 

Only those who put rational reasoning and cold logic aside and guessed unbelivably high numbers will win the Great Pumpkin Weigh Off Pool this year.

Greg Stucker's guess is so close to the current top weight that I'm tempted to ask him some pointed questions concerning the direction of the stock market.  However, I'm going to hold off announcing final winners until the last major weigh offs occur.

There has been a correction made in the prize pools and one entrant was disqualified for multiple entries.  The five prize pools are listed below.  The five closest guesses to the top official pumpkin weight will each win a prize pool.  The closest guess gets the first choice of the prize pools and so on down the line.
