Southern Cup
Hi All,
My friend Joe Mills, aka "The Pumpkin King of DC", aka "Zoo Doo", has asked
me to post a request for information about pumpkins grown in the South. As
most of you know, Joe sponsors the Southern Cup, awarded each year to the
grower of the largest pumpkin in the South.
The largest pumpkin we know of from the South this year was a 720.6 grown by
Wallace Simmons. If any of you Southern growers topped that, or if anyone
else knows of a Southern grower who topped that, Joe needs to know. Bob A.,
Barbara, Tim, Mike - you all have your fingers on those Southern pulses!
What have you got??
