Dennis, if they feel solid when squeezed they should be good. I just cut off a 179lb splitter/rotter from a 1020 Papez (x1062 Rivard) about 40 days old and got 100+ seeds that are solid & should germinate.

I just seeded my Troy 654 it was about 306 lbs 107 inches Cir. It has been off the vine for some time now and when I cut into it I had about 50% germination. My question is; are the seeds that didn’t germinate inside the pumpkin still good seeds or are they a total loss? There are about 150 seed that didn’t germinate and this is a very orange pumpkin I hate to waste good seeds. This also happened on a Hunt 991 200 lb and a Kennedy 150lbs
