weigh offs or festivals

i know i missed the festival in romulus michigan  i never been to a festival 
or weigh off  are there any in the michigan ohio or canada that i could 
attend  i live in the detroit area and this is my first year growing pumpkins 
also any pumpkin growers organizations i can join?
