Results from the Sonoma County Harvest Fair pumpkin weighoff:

577 Matt Praetzel, circumference 120
565 Ulysses Vanderkamp, circumference 132

Watermelon
95 lbs  Ray Barenchi

Now, I might have got the weight a bit wrong on the 2nd place pumpkin.
What I wish to point out is that it was a much larger fruit than Matt
Praetzel's winner - and got more attention from the crowd - but Matt's
fruit weighed 164 pounds OVER the tape. 
Congratulations, Matt! 
And congratulations also to Ulysses and Mr Ray Barenchi.
