Your right Glenn. It was more like 5 feet in diameter
not circumference.
The media is a funny thing. The local paper did a
nice story about my pumpkin and got almost everything right except the fact that
I was taking it to Elmira, NY on Sunday. I was planning on taking another
pumpkin to Elmira. This part of the story spread through the news and
eventually was broadcast nationwide by none other than Paul
Harvey. Now because both my mother and mother-in-law are Paul Harvey
fans they both said " you have to take it to Elmira, Paul Harvey said
so!" So, I guess I'm taking it to Elmira so Paul Harvey won't look like a
liar. This pumpkin growing is getting way too complicated! Don't get
me wrong, I'm enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for all the nice emails
and I hope all your pumpkins weigh out beyond your hopes tomorrow. Take
