Anybody know if other squash-type fruits turn colors like pumpkins?
I Just had the first frost and all of my prevously hidden zucchini have been revealed, including two which are bright orange they look like mutant pumpkins, but this is one generation too soon for that to be a result of crossing (the seeds might be crossed - depends on how the bees went, and I'll find that out next year).
I've never heard of zuccini turning orange - but since I don't know anyone who grows them and leaves them to get this big; I might not have heard of it. Anyone familiar with this?
