Another
interesting dilemma is going to be how we are going to handle getting around
irradiation if you think the mail will be traveling near the Capitol and you
don’t particularly want your mail irradiated. I find it interesting that the
new Organic compliance laws strictly forbid irradiation, but yet if you ship
USPS, it might get zapped anyway.

With
trading season soon upon us, could one of our US postal empolyees (Rocky) and
Canadian postal emploees update us and help the new growers to be with
requirements from the postal service. I learned today that the 45 cent
Pumpkinseed Sunfish stamps will no longer get the job done. It now takes the
Sunfish and Father Flanagan to send a small bubble pack in the States. I don't
know who it takes to get one to Canada.

I find a #000 bubble pack
is great for most trades. They can be bought at Office Max , or wherever,
for $8 for 25. After adressing and stamping it( with how much Rocky says) put
it in a brown 6" x9" kraft envelope $8/100 and send to grower. When sending
out of country DO NOT put return postage on bubble pack the return
postage must be from other counrty, Rocky a little help here please, instead
send small money to cover return postage.
