I would suggest that you buy Don Langevin's book
"How to grow world class giant pumpkins II" and also look
online at http://web.raex.com/~ldnwelty/
Read as much as you can and start getting your soil as ready as
possible right now with mulch, manure, sand, leaves, etc...
I can send you some seeds if you send me two bucks for
shipping costs.
