Thanks all,

Since my soil is naturally about 7.8, I'm just gonna
toss them in there! Being too acidic is not one of
my worries. ;-)

Composters and Compostees,
Compost is also by nature a little basic, small amounts of pine needles would bring your pH to a more neutral area.
