lineage

Hello,
This year after a couple of years off I returned to the Giant pumpkin
sport
I planted seeds I had harvested a few years ago. I guess they were weak, or
damaged because they were spindley and did not even make it thru the
transplant.
I am starting early for next year. I want to try to grow the perfect
pumpkin
(like everyone else) the perfect shape, size, color, etc. So I thought I
would
look at the Lineage charts. They use to exist, but now I can't seem to
locate
a site that has this information. I came across this email and thought I
would
ask you for directions to a site with this info. A few years ago I was
fortunate to receive a decendant seed from the great Bill Greer 1006. Back
then I was in the Canada Pumpkin club but I do not see it has it vanished ?
I loved those people even though I did not know them personally. Hope
you have time to reply. Below is excerpt from email
thanks Theresa

p.s. what earmarks do u use to pick a good cross ?

I would go with the922.5 Emmons - a great cross with good potential743
Gatewood - great color and good lineage707 Toftness - again great color, its
the same cross as the 845 but I think the color is better. As you can tell I
like orange.Brian
