The Southern Cup

Joe 'Zoo Doo' Mills has asked me to remind everyone that the deadline for the Southern Cup is October 16. The current leading contender is Wallace Simmons of Canton NC with an 860-pounder. (Yes, thats a different pumpkin than the 817 that won at Allardt.)

If you or someone you know grew a bigger pumpkin south of the Mason Dixon Line, east of the Mississippi, or in Texas, Louisiana, or Washington, D.C., please contact Joe. Thats his email addy up there on the CC line.
