Tall Sunflowers & Century Cantaloupe (& 1996 squash revisited)

I am wondering what the tallest sunflower at a GPC event was this year?  I
had one 14 ft. 1/2 in. tall.

Locally there has been a rumor of a 100 lb. cantaloupe...sounds highly
unlikely to me, but anybody else heard anything along these lines?

Also, still hoping someone can help me out with a complete list of squash
from GPC weigh-offs in 1996.  Trying to tell if my kids have a new Missouri
state record for squash or not...
