New Record At Windsor NS Weigh-Off
On Saturday, Oct. 1, Daryl Tingley, Fredericton NB with a 1247 lb pumpkin
set a new Windsor record previously held by Ben Hebb with 1215 in 2002.
Lisa Wentzell, Bridgewater NS placed second with 1190 and Edmund Hemphill,
Mount Pleasant NB was third with a 1171 lb pumpkin. Last year's winner,
Bill Northrup of Sussex NB received the prize for the most perfect pumpkin
for the second year in a row.
