kathie....who won the Sonoma County Harvest Fair Pumpkin Contest? I bet they were short on entries due to the disasters in the pumpkin patch this year and the conflicts with elk grove and half moon bay. that is toooooo many weigh offs in tooo short of time! cindi

I have been asked to forward this message about the Sonoma County Harvest
Fair in Santa Rosa scheduled for Sunday, October 8:

ATTENTION PUMPKIN GROWERS

THE SECOND ANNUAL HARVEST FAIR STATE INVITATIONAL GIANT PUMPKIN CONTEST WILL
BE HELD AT THE SONOMA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS DURING THE HARVEST FAIR ON SUNDAY,
OCTOBER 8TH. WE WILL BE ACCEPTING ALL PUMPKINS FROM 11:00 AM TO 12:30 PM,
WEIGH-OFF WILL TAKE PLACE At 1:00 P.M.

WE WILL ACCEPT ENTRY FROM EXHIBITORS ON THE SPOT - NO NEED TO HAVE
PRE-REGISTERED

ENTRY FEE IS $15.00 AND INCLUDES A COMMEMMORATIVE T-SHIRT.

$2,000.00 IN PRIZE MONEY, WITH FIRST PLACE AT $1,000.00.
