Astonishing! For us lowly Missouri growers, who in our first year growing
(our son grew with Grandma in a rather
fly-by-the-seat-of-our-uneducated-pants style) managed a 323.5 pounder in
the first year and two drowned plants this year, that beast is
incomprehensible! Our state record, set last year, is 898ish. One can only
DREAM of a monster like Connolly's masterpiece here in MO! 

Thanks for sharing the article; I can't wait for all the weighoff results to
come in. Is a one ton pumpkin truly POSSIBLE???
