to plenty of good, aged manure (sheep)... plenty of compost... plenty
of pots (some very large)... and finally... plenty of courage!!!

After 4 years of failing to produce a giant pumpkin I am sending out
a plea for some good seeds. I have a good place to grow, plenty of
water, all the rotted manure I want, a green house to start seeds,
and a great desire to raise a large (alright I admit it, an enormous
giant) pumpkin. Lately it seems I am the Typhoid Mary of growers, one
year it was the deer, then a flock of wild turkeys, mice, bug
infestation, frosts, too hot, you name it and it seems like it has
happened to me . At some point my bad luck has to run out, and I am
thinking about next year already. Anyone willing to risk their seeds
to Old Typhoid Mary?
