The standard form is ...
For the pumpkin you grew this year you put first its weight:
890, for example
Then your own name:
Tojek
Then this year's date:
2008
Your dear pumpkin's seeds will be labeled 890 Tojek 08.
Beneath that you want to put the name of the seed you planted to get
your 890. Say it was the
843 Heyne 05. And say that when the blossom on the 843 Heyne 05 plant
became a woman and you pollinated her with a male blossom from the
1290 Poirier 07, that's the info you put beneath the seed's name:
890 Tojek 08
(843 Heyne 05 x 1290 Poirier 07)
