Re: removing grass from new patch


There isn't really much grass there except for the perimeter of where the silt 
fence was a between a few of the vines.   The rest of it is bare from walking 
around or mounded soil where the vines were.   Maybe I should just till the 
whole area and hope that it all dies this winter.  Plus I need a place to put my 
chopped up pumpkin once the day arrives.

Even if you Roundup you might want to remove the top couple of inches later
if you have a thick turf.
