about Bees

I thought I would share this info with my pumpkin grow'n friends. I am a
honey bee lover. grew up raising 40+ hives with my dad, fond memories.
And, now a dad myself, I thought i would do the same with my kids. over
the last 4 years I have bought and tried to maintain a couple different
hives. each time, one week i go to check on them and all seems well, next
week, the bees are gone. Bad situation for us gardeners and society as a
whole cause I know this group understands the importance of the
dependencies of bees and our plants, especially fruits and vegetables.

anyway, thought I'd share
